Early Childhood Programs

Developed by Lynda Slavinskis, Masters qualified early childhood teacher and accomplished musician, All The Doo Dah Day programs have been delivered since 2012 to rave reviews. Our programs are purposefully designed to meet all learning outcomes and practice principles of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the national Early Years Learning Framework.
We strive to take into account the children’s emerging interests and our program seeks to improve their social, emotional and physical wellbeing. Our programs incorporate literacy and numeracy concepts and work on gross and fine motor skills. A key to the program is engendering a sense of community and respect for diversity and to that end we sing in many different languages including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages. Our programs are inclusive for children of all abilities, cultural, language and socio-economic backgrounds. Our programs are not limited to children's music. Our ultimate is when a child says "my mummy put your song on her playlist"!
Research shows that music makes the brain more receptive to learning and All The Doo Dah Day is all about learning THROUGH music.
Children will learn songs, play instruments, learn dances, tell their own stories, make up their own dances and learn new concepts inspired by their interests. All The Doo Dah Day holds space for children to be themselves, use their voices and soar high.
Unlike standard franchised music programs, our pedagogy is emergent, relational and co-constructive. We are unique in:

We are no longer taking bookings for regular weekly classes as our books are full BUT you can choose from the options listed below.

One Sparkly Day Single Incursions
Our OG single incursion that will be remembered years after the children experience it! 45 minutes of the best of All The Doo Dah Day. Singing, dancing, instruments, sensory experiences, culture and jam packed full of learning.
$375 + GST per group plus $50 + GST Travel per visit to service. Max 33 children. *

An Extra Sparkly Day - Hybrid Program for Long Day Care
Book Lynda to come to your service for the whole day from 9:30 - 4:30pm so she can create a true Community of Learners! She will run 30 min sessions in each room and then have 45 minute break out sessions for collegiate reflection/mentoring of educators/room leaders based on the age groups they teach, so they are inspired to embed music and movement into their own daily programs.. Enquire for a full quote.
Sample fee based on 5 room service with 3 break out sessions for educators: $3000 + GST.*

Intergenerational Programs
Lynda might be the Tay Tay of Preschoolers but she is also VERY popular with the oldies! With extensive experience working with the elderly, especially those with dementia, Lynda is the only choice for your intergenerational sessions which can be held either at your service or at an aged care setting of your choice. See the wonderful physical, cognitive and emotional benefits for both the young and the young at heart that comes from collaborating, respecting and learning from each other.

Twinkle Package
8 x 45 minute incursions that can be shared amongst groups within your service. Allows for extra connection with the children and therefore extra learning and magic!

Community Celebrations
From Kinder Discos to End of Year Celebrations, indoors or outdoors at your service, Lynda is a perfect host able to engage and enchant the entire community including dads and even grandparents! Lynda is booked for 1 hour and 15 minutes, which includes a 45 minute music session and time on either side for setting up and rallying the troops. Lynda brings all her own equipment. You just send out the invites!

Special Events & Concerts
Lynda is also available to run large scale shows at external venues for loads of people. Book her for a set for your family friendly outdoor festival , children's week or community event. Guaranteed to engage all ages, Lynda has been a hit at the Children's Week Picnic at Werribee Mansion, City of Greater Dandenong's Little Day Out and her own sell out Family Concerts.
Some of our kinders even come together to have a large end of year celebration and share the cost. It is the best.
Clients are responsible for external venue hire and all OH&S compliance.
